Following the scorched-earth arrival of Born In Evil, metal storytellers Vandhali return with the next chapter in their unfolding Evil Trilogy: After Evil. Releasing June 6, 2025, this second installment plunges deeper into a world left in ruin, ruled by cruelty, and stripped of hope.
Where Born In Evil charted the rise of darkness, After Evil confronts the aftermath: a devastated landscape governed by tyranny. Evil now reigns unchecked, and the remnants of humanity are left to suffer under the heel of monstrous forces. Featuring six harrowing tracks, including Wastelands, House of Fate, and Abaddon, this chapter expands the lore and intensity of the Vandhali mythos, offering a brutal meditation on despair, judgment, and the fading embers of resistance.
"After Evil is where the world splits open" the band explains. "It’s not just about destruction, it’s about control, torment, and the psychological ruin that follows. But even in the depths of hell, there are whispers of better days ahead..."
This release also features guest performances from members of Kamru, Lord Velvet, and Vakara, bringing added dimension and weight to Vandhali’s ever-growing sonic world. With immersive narration, punishing arrangements, and a haunting atmosphere, After Evil captures both the horror of devastation and the faint, flickering hope that endures beneath it.
After Evil is the second of three releases that will unfold across 2025, marking Vandhali’s most ambitious narrative effort to date.
